  Conference Format

Four student abstracts will be accepted for oral presentations of 15 minutes each (10 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for discussion).

Abstracts must be submitted by Monday, March 29 at 5 pm to be considered for an oral presentation.

1.
To be considered for this session, the student must be the primary author and presenter.
2.
Abstract selection will be based on scientific content, composition, and adherence to abstract preparation guidelines. Four student authored abstracts will be selected for this session.
3.
All abstracts received after Monday, March 29 at 5 pm will only be considered for poster presentations.
4.
The deadline for submitting abstracts for posting to the website is Wednesday, April 7at 5 pm. You may submit abstracts after this date, but they will not be posted until after the conference.
 
     
     
 

Poster Guidelines

The maximum size of each poster board is 36“ tall and 48” wide.  Posters smaller than the maximum size are acceptable.

The poster should contain these sections:  Title; Authors and affiliations; Introduction/Objectives (short); Methods; Results (with Data); Conclusions; and Acknowledgements.  Additional sections could include the Abstract, Recommendations (for future work), and References.

Oral Presentation Guidelines

Fifteen (15) minutes will be allotted for each oral presentation (10 - 11 minutes for the presentation and 4 - 5 minutes for discussion). 

The same general information should be covered in the oral presentation as for the poster.
